New York-based Forge, a global B2B events and media company, has acquired Kisaco Research, the London events business founded by Sarah Clayton in 2014. Terms were not disclosed.
Kisaco Research runs 14 specialist conferences across technology, healthcare, wellness and legal markets, including its flagship AI Infra Summit for the artificial intelligence infrastructure sector. Its healthcare and wellness events will join Forge’s existing portfolios in those markets.
Forge said Kisaco’s ability to spot fast-growing markets early and build communities around them fitted its strategy. Founder Sarah Clayton described the deal as an exciting next chapter for the team and the communities it serves.
The sale is a further example of overseas buyers acquiring founder-led UK businesses, a trend reflected in recent figures showing UK buyers’ share of domestic deals at a three-year low.
